Workshop - What, Why and How: Joint Programmes in a Nutshell - Bergen University 


The Task Force Joint Programmes of the Utrecht Network (UN) organised a one and a half day workshop on the planning of Joint Programmes in Bergen, Norway, on 23 and 24 April 2013.
The workshop marked the launch of a new structure of the UN Annual General Meeting (AGM) by offering an important setting for networking and staff development opportunities.


Bergen University, University of Bologna, University College of Cork, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Leipzig University,  Lund University






Workshop learning outcomes:
- Identify the key elements and models of joint programmes
- Gain basic knowledge about the phases of developing and running joint programmes
- Be aware of the benefits and challenges that institutions are facing when developing and running joint programmes
- Identify who will be the key actors involved in the different phases of joint programmes
- Know the main elements of a consortium agreement for a joint programme

The workshop was based on a mix of lectures, exercises, group work and lively discussions.
